Man's Hand Films

Man's Hand Films is one of the oldest and most productive studios to specialize in all-male spanking fetish products. Founded by John Stewart in the late 70's, he worked His whole life in the theater. When John moved to California, he started Man's Hand Films. He sought out Bob Miser, the founder of the famous Athletic Model Guild, for models and a facility to shoot the short-subject spanking films on 8mm. These short stories always had a plot, normally with a humorous tone. John also produced a series of spanking audio tapes that he called "Read Tales" (as in the past-tense). In 1989, John sold his earliest films to Bijou Distributors who released them as video compilations. This is why the current Man's Hand Catalog begins with video number 119. Unfortunately, John succumbed to chronic emphysema in January of 1991.

Prior to his death, John enlisted the assistance of Gilbert Connelly in San Francisco, who took over the operation of Man's Hand Films. Under Gil's direction, the video products began to evolve into longer, more serious disciplinary scenes. Mr. Connelly began to occasionally use new directors, and he started shooting the videos at fitting locations to give Man's Hand's videos a more authentic look.

In 2000, Man's Hand Films moved its headquarters to Los Angeles where they continue to produce high quality, all male spanking products. Unlike some of the other studios who produce a variety of fetish and kink videos, or who sell products but no longer produce new items, Man's Hand remains devoted to the creation of products for the male spanking community resulting in an international reputation for quality.
